Carpe Diem GIFT PRINT

This design is inspired by the Baroque painting style, more specifically Vanitas, a still life subgenre with a lot of symbolism that represents the fragility of life and the brevity of our existence. On the back there is a macabre dance, which represents that in the end we are all equal, rich or poor. It has a positive message Carpe diem, seize the day, live life intensely and do what makes you happy.

In the painting of this genre each object and each detail has a symbolism, the skull represents death and other objects allude to ephemeral human qualities, the books represent knowledge or science, the violin represents music, the hourglass represents the passage of time, money and jewels represent wealth or the globe as a symbol of earthly power.
