This design is inspired by BELONA, she was the Roman goddess of war, long before the identification of Mars with Ares, she was the one soldiers prayed to before battle.

BELONA wears a breastplate, helmet, shield, sword and a bloody whip. In art, authors would represent her as a symbol of femininity and strength, linking her to relevant female personalities of each period.

Its temple was located in the Field of Mars, next to the Temple of Apollo.
