Aquelarre® Sweatshirt (available Sunday the 11th)
Between the 15th and 17th centuries, any woman who knew a little medicine, herbalism, or how to handle plants was considered a witch, simply because it was believed that women were incapable of being intelligent.
That is how an entire generation of women with extensive knowledge in various practices was eradicated, rendering all the scientific contributions they made during this period invisible. So, this design is our tribute to those healers, midwives, herbalists, and “WITCHES” 🌿
The coven illustration on the front is inspired by Botticelli's painting of Primavera.
