THE STAR©
⭐️This design is inspired by the Star Tarot card and Renaissance aesthetics.
The card represents a beacon of hope and inspiration; in moments of darkness it shows us that there is a path, the bird about to take flight ready to carry away any existing negativity.
Witchcraft
This design is an interpretation inspired by the 15th century, the beginning of an era of repression, the so-called witch hunt. Thousands of women were executed for practicing "witchcraft" including in that term a wide range of acts and circumstances, from medicine practiced by women, the preparation of potions and medicines, divination and magic, to social behaviors rejected by religious authorities. The style of the illustrations is inspired by the engraving technique and pre-Raphaelite paintings ✨
Lilith and Lucifer©
This design is inspired by Lilith, a figure from ancient mythology.
In the Sumerian myth, Lilith is a goddess or independent force associated with darkness and feared by men. In the Hebrew myth, she represents equality with man, since she was created in his likeness. Thus, seeing herself as equal to Adam, she rebelled against his demands for submission and abandoned him. In many myths, she ends up being the wife of Lucifer and the mother of demons.
On the back we have represented the sculpture of Lucifer by Guillaume Geefs from 1848, which has a hilarious story behind it, the church first commissioned the sculpture to Joseph Geefs but it was rejected for being “too attractive for people” so they commissioned a new one to his brother and he sculpted an even more attractive and sensual Lucifer 😂
Witching Hour©
This design is inspired by that time of night in traditional folklore when witches, spirits and demons are believed to come out, their moment of greatest power✨The witching hour. The illustration is inspired by the painting Witch Going to the Coven by Luis Ricardo Falero.
Vampire Hunting Kit©
Vampire hunting kit 🦇 inspired by folklore and superstition surrounding this creature, although the kits are an invention of the 40s or 50s, they were recreated with Victorian objects.
Botany©
Design inspired by Nature, the front illustration is of edible wild plants that you might find on a walk in the countryside🌿The style is entirely botanical scientific illustration. The back illustration is of birds called the corn bunting or Emberiza calandra, perched on a pear tree. The corn bunting is a beautiful bird very common in the countryside that has unfortunately seen its populations decline dramatically due to the destruction of its territory and the intensive use of pesticides and herbicides in the fields. Our organic cotton is GOTS certified which guarantees that it has been grown without pesticides or herbicides, respecting its environment 🌿🥰

🌿 BOUDICA, This Celtic aesthetic design is inspired by Boudica, the British warrior queen of the Iceni tribe, the queen who fought and defied Rome. She led several British tribes during the largest uprising in Britain against Roman occupation in the 1st century.
And in Andraste, warrior goddess of victory.
The illustration style is inspired by the aesthetics of an old book with a dark cover and gold embossing ✨
Vaquirias©
The Valkyries (from Old Norse: valkyrja, 'choosers of the fallen in battle') are dísir, female deities of Norse mythology. Their main purpose was to choose the most heroic of those fallen in battle and take them to Valhalla, since Odin needed warriors to fight at his side in the battle of the end of the world, Ragnarök. In heroic songs they were described as bands of female warriors who ride among the ranks of the gods. The Valkyries are related to ravens, the main animals owned by the god Odin. The Valkyries could have been an ideological and mythological evolution of the figure of the raven; this bird that is present after all battles, devouring the bodies of the dead. We have been inspired to represent them in illustrations and engravings from the 19th century.
