This design is inspired by Japanese mythology, it is our artistic representation of Inari, the Japanese deity of prosperity, tea, agriculture, especially rice, (that's why we have drawn a rice field 🌾 on the kimono), industry, blacksmithing and sword forging. Inari is a complex deity with many faces, she is known as a male, female and androgynous figure, depending on the context.

Inari's emissary is the fox, and two images of this animal flank the effigy of Inari in all his shrines, one male and one female.

Inari foxes are popularly known as white, the color of good omen. These kitsunes, unlike the rest of their species, such as wild foxes or demon foxes, are more friendly.

The entire background landscape is inspired by different parts of the Fushimi Inari-Taisha shrine, dedicated to the deity Inari.
On the back we have represented a Fox 🦊 above the kanji for Kitsune, fox in Japanese.
