This design is inspired by Cleopatra, the last queen of the Ptolemaic dynasty, whose death marked the end of the Hellenistic period in Egypt. Although her beauty is often praised more than her intelligence, she was a brilliant diplomat, naval commander, linguist and writer of medical treatises.

The style of the illustrations is inspired by Academicism, an artistic style that developed in Europe during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
And the perfect time for this design, when we are closer than ever to discovering Cleopatra's Tomb thanks to archaeologist Kathleen Martinez.
